The Beginning

Visiontech Solutions Pty Ltd (now known as Visiontech Digital Media) was first established in 2000 with the ambition to provide Australian businesses with a full service creative studio, providing a level of skill and quality from one central creative hub which would allow business owners to tap into as a marketing and technology resource as they needed it. Due to constant reinvention and a burning passion, this ambition became a reality on a national scale.

Originally the core business offering of Visiontech was Graphic Design, Website Design and Print Management but as the Sydney market headed rapidly towards the internet, namely the World Wide Web, so did Visiontech.

Visiontech had always ensured it employed awesome unorthodox graphic design and Flash® technology in it's websites and as time went on Visiontech gained recognition for it's rich-media websites which in 2000 were very uncommon due to the lack of skilled Flash® animators available in the marketplace at the time.

Static DIY websites were fast becoming a popular choice for start-up businesses and in general most business owners had no idea what html, POP email or ftp were. Due to the markets lack of understanding of web technologies it was quite a challenge to sell a website, as business owners seemed to leave their 'website' as the item on the list they will 'get around to' and focussed more on their print campaigns instead.

Entering the Marketplace

Visiontech was to move into it's first office space in 2000 located at Botany Road, Rosebery in Sydney. it was here the business made it through the start-up phase and aquired a customer base that was mainly made up of small to medium enterprises, seeking a design house to assist with graphic design, website design, corporate identity development and print management/brokering.

The company experienced moderate growth during 2000 to 2002 and decided it was time to push more of the web based services to the many businesses it had aquired as clients and show them how they can grow their businesses by implementing technology that had arrived and was here to stay - with the arrival of broadband and high-speed internet service providers, this was now possible.

In making this decision, Visiontech wanted to capitalise on this market change while it was hot and in 2003 the company moved into their new loft style creative space in Little Oxford Street, in the heart of Sydney were a more appropriate setting for an up and coming digital media agency would begin taking it's giant steps towards national success.

Growing Pains

Visiontech continued to grow at a steady rate during this time, employing talented staff which would see the small team begin to flourish with it's capabilities and skillset which in turn allowed the Visiontech client base to grow organically. With the aquisition of a handful of high profile clients during 2003 the opportunity to make an impact on Sydney businesses became available and in the true Visiontech style a new breed of digital media agency was beginning to rise.

Visiontech had been accepted by the Sydney market as a premium supplier of digital media services with website design and development being a core strength and fast becoming the most requested service. The Visiontech client base back in 2003 had grown from 1 customer in 2000 to approximately 60 by 2003.

Due to the growth that had been experienced in 2003, it was time to relocate into yet another larger space. This time the move was made around the corner into a trendy inner city terrace located on Fitzroy Street, Surry Hills, Sydney. This move was widely accepted by the loyal Visiontech client base and once again allowed the company to focus on providing a premium digital media service with website design and development now the company's official core service offering.

Between 2004 and 2005, Visiontech refined it's unique business oriented design style and launched it's 'Grow Your Business' themed marketing campaign. It was this campaign that communicated to businesses in the Sydney marketplace that an all-in-one digital media solution was now available. Businesses had begun to understand the internet and this acceptance of web technology had broadened Visiontech's client base automatically, once again providing for more growth to be had by Visiontech Digital Media.

More high profile brands had joined the Visiontech client base during this time and as this was taking place Visiontech's web services had become further refined and simplified making it more appealing for businesses to employ the services of Visiontech Digital Media.

The New Era

January 2006 was the new era for Visiontech Digital Media, upgrading once again to an office space of almost 100m2 in Alexandria, Sydney which was aquired to house the increased infrastructure aswell as the staff required to manage the Visiontech Digital Media machine. The company had officially made it's mark on the map and a new corporate style image was in order. This was the time for Visiontech to reinvent itself into what it is today and the company began to view it's potential on a national scale.

It was in this time, a rebrand of not only the Visiontech Corporate identity was to take place but also it's new line of e-business products were to be released and offered to the technology hungry businesses who had finally understood that web-based applications where the future and allowed them to run their operations from anywhere in the world via a web connection.

Between 2005 and 2007 Visiontech had begun it's hiring spree and was seeking talented, young Digital Designers and Programmers to service the 200+ customer base it now had with all the available digital media services. With web technology being core business, clients became more creative with their requests and Visiontech had become extremely proficient with eCommerce online shop development. The web-based ebusiness suite was growing and WebPublisherCMS™ (Content Management System) was almost a standard request on every website order. Businesses now wanted control of their online investment and they wanted it in the form of simplicity. V-Shop™ Online Shopping System was also launched during this time.

The NEW Breed

2008 has seen Visiontech receive massive growth based on it's committment to businesses and their need to stay on top of technology and benefit on not only a marketing level but also from an infrastructure perspective. Visiontech now provides it's Digital Media services to a broader national audience of over 450+ clients across 5 states (NSW, QLD, VIC, SA and TAS) and has representation in Melbourne with it's full service production studio based in Alexandria, Sydney.

Visiontech understands that the business of today is streamlined, it's processess are web-based and it certainly is not micro-managed. Web applications are now deployed in place of human beings and this constant quest for the ultimate in streamlined productivity is yet to reach it's full potential. The quest for business and corporations to continously automate their daily business activities and processes into these huge profit centres is called 'technology' and this new breed of 'technology' is in constant change. Technology is infinite and is something that must be embraced in order for any business entity to survive in todays extremely competitive and over-crowded marketplace.

Not much has changed, it is still the survival of the fittest and the fittest businesses will measure their success on how much they embrace technology today and build their empires on it tomorrow.

Thank you for all of your support throughout the years and we promise to provide you with more world-class, cutting edge Digital Media Services now and in the future.
